Once again the Missions Committee is partnering with the Salvation Army to provide backpacks to needy children. On Sunday, June 26th, 12 backpacks were distributed to the congregation. If you did not received one and would like to participate please contact Cindy Kearley at kearlec@laborp.com
Or you can purchase a backpack and fill it with the following items:
Paper (wide ruled)
Spiral Notebooks
Pencils
Erasers
Crayons
Markers (primary colors, fat ones)
Children’s Scissors
Liquid Glue (not glue sticks)
The backpacks should be geared for ages 12 years and younger.
Please return your backpack to church by July 31st so that the Salvation Army has time to distribute.
